Boston and New York are the cities that I have mostly visited in the United States. They are
both big and full of history. My traveling purpose was for pleasure and education. I have visited many museums and national parks within the Greater Boston as well as New York. Both cities are walkable, bike friendly and have excellent public transportation. I was impressed that you don’t need a car to travel from place to place like in other American regions. What I find fascinating about Boston is that every old street has a House Museum which tells the story of the city and the family who owned it. It gives you the opportunity to see how people lived centuries ago, and contemplate their richly decorated belonging. Whereas New York entertained me with the Modern Art Museums and high sky scrapers which are always competing with each other to reach higher heights and employ modern construction technologies. Although one is older and the other is modern, both cities offer a rich variety of ethnic people, restaurants and workshops. Despite the cities uniqueness, expatriates or tourists can always find a place of their home wherever they go.
