I am an Orthopedic Surgeon who has been working in the University Trauma Center for several years now. I never thought that one day I would have a Professional Experience in the United States of America, having such an opportunity was like a dream. For me, the ideal place to have such an experience was Europe. But God always has his own plans for each of us. And for me, he had a different plan than the one I had in mind. My wife was the one who insisted that I apply for the MIP Program from AADF. I applied, but I really did not hope that I could be one of the winners. I really felt blessed by the luck that I won the MIP and was accepted into the best hospital in America in the field of Orthopedics, this was thanks to my previous friendship with Prof. Daniel Green. New York is an extraordinary, vibrant city that never stops. People with different stories, from every country in the world. I was welcomed very well at HSS. I felt at home, like the youngest member of a big family that supports everyone without any hesitation. I had the opportunity to learn from the subspecialty of Dr. Green, Dr. Bostrom and Dr. Ranawat. I learned a lot of new things that I hope to implement in my daily practice. I had the opportunity to visit many places in the USA, starting from New York City, New Jersey, New Haven Connecticut, Boston Massachusetts, Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Miami Florida, Washington DC, Detroit Michigan. I was even more fortunate to visit Yale University and Weil Cornell University. The experience was filled with many unforgettable moments. Living every day on the streets of New York was truly a dream come true. Photos from various locations in New York City and the US will better present my American experience. All thanks to AADF and Prof. Daniel Green and Hospital for Special Surgery.
